春水堂人文茶館成立於1983年，融合世界歷史的飲茶觀，透過雪克器，將傳統熱壺泡茶轉變為冰泡沫紅茶，成為手搖冷飲潮流的先驅。

Founded in 1983, Chun Shui Tang was a pioneer in transforming traditionally brewed tea into trendsetting iced beverages by creating bubble black tea using cocktail shakers.

1987年，春水堂開啟在冷飲茶中加料的先例，在奶茶中加入以樹薯粉製成的國民小吃－粉圓，其晶瑩剔透的光滑狀就像珍珠，因此命名為「珍珠奶茶」；珍珠奶茶成為台灣的當代國飲，在世界各地開枝散葉，茶因而變得多元豐富而有趣，也改變了大眾喝茶的習慣。

In 1987, Chun Shui Tang changed the public’s tea-drinking habit by being the first to add food ingredients to cold tea drinks. The black, round and glossy tapioca balls that roll in the milk tea resemble pearls, which is why the drink is named “pearl milk tea” (now commonly known as bubble tea), as tapioca balls are also referred to as boba pearls. Since then, pearl milk tea has become Taiwan’s national drink and has gained popularity all over the world, building an unshakable reputation in the cold drink industry.
