Chun Shui Tang was a pioneer in transforming traditionally brewed tea into trendsetting iced beverages by creating bubble black tea using cocktail shakers.
In 1987, Chun Shui Tang changed the public’s tea-drinking habit by being the first to add food ingredients to cold tea drinks. The black, round and glossy tapioca balls that roll in the milk tea resemble pearls, which is why the drink is named “pearl milk tea” (now commonly known as bubble tea), as tapioca pearls are also referred to as boba pearls. Since then, Bubble Tea has become Taiwan’s national drink and has gained popularity all over the world, building an unshakable reputation in the cold drink industry.

Current Status of Overseas Development
In 2013, Chun Shui Tang opened its first overseas store in Daikanyama, Tokyo, Japan. Since then, Chun Shui Tang has opened stores in the Kanto, Kansai, and Fukuoka areas of Japan. In 2018, the brand successfully entered the Hong Kong market and still operates many stores across Hong Kong currently.
